Accept pt that others don't need to have the same beliefs as you, breathe slowly and think of nothing at all or count backwards, look around you for as many things as you can that are one particular colour or listen for as many sounds as you can... Hence taking your mind off the issue and elsewhere. You can always come back to the issue when you're more relaxed.
Who's elephant is it? If it isn't your problem, don't make it your problem. Take some time out or you and get a massage, do some yoga, meditate and just relax.
